Urgent Assessment Clinic Times
If you feel you need to be seen urgently on the same day, we offer an assessment clinic, whereby you call the practice and are asked some general questions by our reception team. You will then be added to the clinician's worklist, and they will call you back within 3 hours to discuss your problem and advise if you need an appointment or if another method of management would be suitable (e.g. self-care, visiting the pharmacy). If the clinician feels you need an appointment, one will be booked for you either on the same day or within a few days, whichever is felt to be most appropriate.
To be added to the urgent assessment clinic, you need to call the surgery on 0115 9505907 between 8.30am and 10.30am every day for morning appointments, or between 1.30pm and 2.30pm for afternoon appointments.
